Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King. I first came across this book when I was around 12 years old and I've read it probably 5 or 6 times since then. It stands out because it's different than the horror novels he's typically known for (although he did write Shawshank Redemption and Stand by Me) and it won't scare the pants off younger readers. In the end it's a classic tale of good vs evil and everyone loves one of those. Also, it has Flagg in it - a character that appears frequently throughout the King universe and who might just be the best villain of all time.
